Where'd he come from?

Tonight we were watching DWTS (Dancing with the Stars..in case you didn't know) and Mason discovered another dog! He couldn't figure out why it did exactly the same things he did. Ha! He even pulled his 'groundhog' pose...I'm sure to intimidate the 'new' puppy! ;) Silly Mason never did figure out it was really him!

You might want to pause the music on the bottom right to hear his ferocious bark! ;)

Hope everyone had a great Monday...shew, it's behind us and I'm hearing there's wonderful weather in store for later this week and the weekend! YEA

Humbled!

Today, some of the folks I work with and I volunteered at the Frederick Rescue Mission. We served lunch to the residences of the Mission and to the less fortunate of the community. It was an amazing experience! Not only did it make me very thankful for the home I have and the food in my belly, but it also reminded me that God provides for our every need! I know that but it's seeing people who are so grateful for a loaf of bread or a warm place to sit and have lunch that makes it all so clear! We met people who were so thankful and appreciative and I absolutely can't wait to go back! May God bless each and every one of the people who serve and for the people who find a little refuge in a warm meal and a welcoming smile!

Welcome Spring!

We had perfect spring weather this weekend. We spent a lot of time outside getting the patio furniture out, washing cars and planting a few pansies! It's so nice to be out!

Since it was the first day of Spring and all 3 God kids were here, I took a few pictures! :) Here's a peek at them

Jon started a fire last night so we sat out for most of the evening...even the furry boys were tired by the time we went inside!

It was a busy weekend and I can't believe it's over! Rain's in the forecast for the next couple of days but after the weather we've had, I'm not going to complain!

Getting to Know You Sunday!

1. What year did you graduate high school?

1989

2. What part of your body do you neglect the most?

Probably my hands. For years I had my nails 'done' every 2 weeks. But I stopped that a few years back and haven't had a manicure since.

3. Beach house or Lake house?

That's a tough one, but I'm going to have to say beach house. I love being on the boat but the lake I've spent the most time at doesn't have a lot to do once the sun sets. And I need action! So, I'm going with the beach!

4. Mac or PC?

Lately....Mac!

5. Did you wear braces?

Oh did I wear braces?! YES...from 4th grade through 10th. And they were the slim dainty kind either! See...

The length of time had absolutely nothing to do with my terror of having teeth pulled! 4 whole teeth that I grew! It had nothing to do with me running from dentist offices or canceling my own appointments..nope nothing! ;) (yes, you can feel sorry for my parents!)

6. If you could be one person for a day..living or deceased..who would you be?

I had to come back to this question - but when Joe Gibbs was the coach of the Redskins, I always said I thought it was be the coolest thing to be his personal assistant. I know, I could probably think of more glamorous people to be for a day - but I think that would be pretty awesome!

7. How many times have you moved in your life?

6 times - 2 towns.

8. Would you rather cook or clean?

Sooooo easy to answer....CLEAN! Please, please don't make me cook. If you've read awhile, you know I try from time to time and even made it a resolution to do better. But given my choice, let me clean!

Crazy wind!

Sometime during the night, the wind picked up and when I tell you it blew harder than I remember in a long time, I'm not kidding. It seemed like it never let up. When I finally got brave enough to take Mason and Titan outside, this is what I found...

I know, I know, could be far worse! But I hate when things aren't 'right'. :)

I knew it was going to rain, but don't remember hearing anything about wind! Guess I should've paid closer attention to the weather report! ha...

There's a parker!

We took advantage of this spring like day for Jon to practice a little parallel parking.

It took a lot of concentration to get it right

But after a few close calls and a couple of tries

I think he's got it!

When he was little and we'd be looking for a place to park, he'd yell out 'there's a parker!' when he'd spot one. Well I still use that cute little phrase. Before long, he'll be looking for a parker on his own.

I think we all have spring fever now. It was a pretty weekend with lots of sunshine and mild temperatures. A little taste of what's to come...we can't wait!
